Pagoda Red Scholars’ Garden
In the 2,000-square-foot Pagoda Red Scholars’ Garden, more than 85 plants in 17 varieties of perennials, shrubs, trees and vines form unusual vignettes that inspire ideas for incorporating Chinese garden elements in one’s own back yard. The Scholars’ Garden – the only one of its kind in the Chicago area – changes weekly as various artifacts and stone specimens are brought out to complement the seasons’ changing blooms. Pagoda Red is a nationally-recognized destination for fine Asian antiques and artifacts. In addition to its Winnetka gallery, Pagoda Red has a showroom at 1714 N. Damen Ave. in Chicago.
